Nieuw Unicum is preparing for the gradual renewal of its main campus. The masterplan connects the need for future-proof care with the distinctive qualities of the dune landscape.
The existing ensemble is reconsidered through landscape, use and coherence. Spatial guidelines support further design and phasing, with careful attention to the surrounding environment.
The draft masterplan was developed in dialogue with Nieuw Unicum and the municipality of Zandvoort. Connection is its central theme: between buildings and landscape, living and care, and the campus and its surroundings.
